On November 2nd, the Childcare Network of Evanston honored First Bank & Trust with its Hand-in-Hand Award. Their glowing words about the Bank’s championing high quality early education and care cited the many ways we have supported the Childcare Network and other local early childhood programs—from practical support such as providing lines of credit, free checking and meeting rooms to generous donations and advocacy in the community—and with a special mention of our website’s “Community Guide”.

While Robert Yohanan, Howard Kain and Jay Lytle were all nicely mentioned, Jay was singled out for his advocacy within the Communityworks Advisory Committee.

We join a stellar group of previous honorees and are extremely proud to be part of a tradition of supporting such an essential service to our community. We truly thank the Childcare Network of Evanston for this recognition.
