Have You Seen What We’re Doing With Our Existing Branches?

Over the last couple of years we have been updating the landscaping at our Skokie Branch at 8047 Skokie Boulevard. We even display one of the Chicago Cool Globes, “Green, Invest, Grow”, created by artist Jessica Pignotti. In 2010 we were recognized by the Village of Skokie Beautification & Improvement Committee as “property owners who maintain their property in an exceptional manner.” On April 19th we received our Certificate of Appreciation at the Village Board meeting along with our fellow honorees. It has been our pleasure sprucing up the block and we look forward to a warm, flower filled summer.

Our Winnetka Branch, at 100 Green Bay Road, has undergone a complete transformation. With the help of Behles & Behles Architects, we opened up the front of the bank to be lighter, airier and more inviting. Our new landscaping should be the talk of the town. We have completely renovated the interior to provide a more functional use of space in order to better serve our customers. As we made these changes we became more energy efficient, from new indirect lighting that can be adapted to complement natural daylight conditions to windows which are insulated glass, coated for northern climates and filled with argon gas. We’re implementing other “green” items—but that’s a subject for another day.

Please stop by both of these locations to see what we have done. We love showing off our new appearance for you!
