Nonprofit Organizations (NPOs) enjoy free checking, online banking, preferential credit and promotional assistance.
As a locally owned and managed bank, First Bank & Trust knows something about community. The Not-for-Profit Account was developed to assist nonprofit community organizations in achieving their goals. Your organization needs to keep its money working toward the programs you foster. The Not-for-Profit Account easily and inexpensively helps associations, charities, schools and other NPOs help our communities. We believe in your mission.

Credit Card Processing
If you’re a nonprofit organization that accepts Credit Card donations on an ongoing basis but you don't know where to turn for a reputable company to process these transactions, we'd love to put you in touch with a company that has a great track record for doing just that. For a nominal cost, you can have the convenience of providing your supporters an easy and enticing way to help support your mission.
If you wish to be able to accept Credit Cards for just one event per year, we can help you with that as well. We will help you by doing the electronic processing for you---there's no need to buy any equipment or supplies. For Nonprofit organizations, there is a small fee for this service---just $15 and 3% of the net transactions. A $15 fee on disputed items will apply. You just bring us the signed sales slips and we'll do the rest.
Online & Mobile Banking
Business Express has an internet banking platform specifically designed for nonprofit organizations. View your account balances and activity, transfer funds between accounts and pay bills. This product can be used to collect donations/contributions and member fees.
